ETEC602 Team Video Project: QR Code in Japan and Hawaii
Author: C.J Chen, Coby, Madeline, Ayuka, Kazuki
Detail:
This is an internationally collaboration video project. Although this is not my first time experience on working in a online setting with international teammates, it is in fact the first time I work on a collaboration video project. In order to make a schedule for both Hawaii and Japan teammates in different time zone, we use Google Doc to write our meeting schedule, video script; Google Drive to store video footage. We also use Google Hangout to communicate each other online. The Google Hangout enable us to review video content that each members film together at the same time.
On my personal part, I film several hours of footage with my HDV camcorder in three different locations. Later, I also took one the video editing job for the team, which I use Adobe Premier as my main software.
One thing I learn from this project: Nowadays, everyone has a smart phone which can film anywhere at any time. But the quality is still not as good as professional level equipment. Because of this, I have a lot of different resolution footage from my teammates. Maybe next time, we should plan well, and use one same equipment to film.
Feedback from peer: Love the acting, and the editing. Very informative video!
Feedback from Instructor: Good to know the difference of Japan and Hawaii on QR using in life.
AECT Standard: 2.4 Integrated Technologies: Me and my team used authoring tools to make a multimedia video.
